Curt@!ns G.O.D Part III

More heat from Curt@!ns off the #Killertape

Generic Surplus - The Half Brogue Sneaker

Went by The Brooklyn Circus Store today while I'm out here in NY for some New Years festivities and came across these. They immediately caught my attention. They didn't have them in my size but now I really want them. The hunt begins!

Stalley-Monkey Ish (RIP Pimp C)

New track from Stalley. This is honestly what the game has been missing.

Tiffany Evans - I'll Be There

Caught this video a couple of times on MTV Jams this week & thought it was pretty powerful. Stood out from the rest of the videos I watched in a few short spans.

Happy Holidays From Yours Truly,

Much love, respect, & holiday blessings to all of my followers!

The Roots Okay Player Holiday Jam

Last week I had the opportunity to attend the Roots Holiday Jam at BB.King's in NYC. The show and energy was awesome. It was a pleasure to the legendary Patti Labelle rock out with The Roots Crew. She is beautiful & still has that youthful glow. It was amazing. The Roots also brought out John Legend, Estelle, the cast of Fela, Yelawolf, Chiddy Bang, & more artists. It was a great jamboree to be a part of.

CURT@!N$ feat N.E.R.D – God Bless Us All

This video is clever, the way clever covers the NERD track is also brilliant. To me this track goes hard. It's off of his latest mixtape he titled "The Killer Tape" which I've been playing a lot since it dropped. I had the opportunity to meet Curt@!n$ this year. Real humble dude, also very talented.

A Broadway Musical: Memphis

Last week Saturday, I went to my first Broadway show in NYC. It was my first musical as well. A totally unplanned & unexpected trip ended up being well worth the four hours on the road. Got hooked up with tickets from a good friend out there. Memphis is a great musical. The singing was incredible! Go see it if you ever get a chance.

This Is My Life Sometimes

Monday. December 13th, 2010. Brooklyn, NY. Cousin's apartment. My refuge.

Sent This To Myself

When I come home to wind down sometimes, I just need someone to talk to. So that's why I'm calling you. Well, I pretend to dial your number hoping you'd pick up. Why pretend? I guess that's because I don't quite have your number, I don't quite have your number because I have yet to meet you, but you're out there. Somewhere close by waiting for me to approach you. One day I'd gather the confidence to say more than just hello with words to follow. Maybe I'll cleverly pick up an honest line. A lucky charm maybe.

The Stop In Series: Darryl's Corner Bar & Kitchen

Small, intimate, a bit more than your average corner though. Jazz figures posted on the wall, the older generation sitting right in front of them. They were there clearly before the younger crowd arrived. The cool kids were seated into a side room. Myself not removed. Stopped by for a bite to eat plus a lady friend seen the spot on the paper, sent a text like "seen this place in the paper, wondering if you'd like to check it out?" Of course I obliged. Something to do on Thursday night in one of the coldest of weeks plus I haven't been out in days. The live band captured our attention. Hunger waits, as my eyes shut lost in the beat of the drums. The soothing sound of the saxophone took me there. It brought me to a smile. The red wine dumbed it down. Glad I stopped in because when I left, I left thinking what a wonderful time.

The Stop In Series.

Added Detail: Brooklyn Circus Pin

An addition to the Gap Denim Jacket

Had the pin just sitting around. Figured I'd put it to good use.

Crocodile Tears Trunk Show Recap

A few months back I fell in love with the Crocodile Tears Jewelry line. When I first came across this line, it was at the artist studios over on Harrison Avenue. I even did a post on their pieces. Last night Jodi & Mayra of Crocodile Tears held a trunk show at Uncle Pete's displaying their jewelry line & I was there to capture it. It was certainly a good time.

For more on the line you can hit them up @ crcdltears@gmail.com or you can check out their blog http://crcdltears.wordpress.com/

Throwback Joint: Gang Starr - Rite Where U Stand

Question of the Day

Treated you with respect but yet you still consider me a threat or even yet, an enemy. So if I take that back, the respect, what is left in front of me?

Answer to that is: I'll leave you right where you stand.

- RIP Guru.

Front Page - B.I.O. Music Video

"Blame it on the Music". Made my first video cameo on this track. It's funny when we were filming this joint, I hadn't heard the song. My dude Front Page asked me for a favor & I was there. Delighted with the outcome.

Stamp of Camaraderie's Launch Party (Photo Recap)

The event was an absolute success. I can honestly say that this is the happiest I've been in a while. People came out, had a good time, & weren't trying to leave. It was everything that I had envisioned & more. Friends who couldn't make it sent their friends to take pictures to document the situation. A pleasant situation. Constant smiles & thank you's. Friends & family were there to show love & support. Biggest joy was talking about my brand to total strangers giving them the history, how I started, & when, & them being receptive. One man told me that now he feels like he can do it. I told him to just do it because that's exactly what I did. I'm telling you the night was great. There were no haters, it was all love in there.

Funniest part of the night was when we cut off the music to get people to start leaving, they carried on like the music was never on in the first place. The vibe was great. Very satisfied and pleased with the amazing turnout. Special shout out to everyone at Uncle Pete's for granting me this opportunity. Really though, special thanks to Adam who knew I had something special that I was working on before I even told it. He was down from the very beginning. Special thanks to my good friend Eva Sano who really did her thing, it was the best feeling to see her & her people happy and being in the moment with her. Special thanks to Dj Thaddeus Jeffries who kept the party rockin'. The kid got skills. Last but certainly not least, a very special thanks to Jacob W. Parker for seeing my vision & helping me to make it tangible. Couldn't have done any of this without you kid!

Thanks to everyone who came out to support. Thank you for following me on this journey. Thank you for reading the blog. Just for you guys, the official Stamp of Camaraderie website is up www.stampregime.com/ Visit, show love, leave a comment. Let me know you've visited. The rest of the photos from the event are also up on the site.

I love you guys. That's enough of the mushy stuff. I am anxious, proud, & thinking of what's next. Until next post!

The Set Up @ Uncle Pete's

Opportunities! The good folks at Uncle Pete's gave me an opportunity to host my first event ever. I gave my friend Eva the opportunity to hold her 1st ever gallery. It was a beautiful showcase. The genuine atmosphere of the shop made it that much easier to put together such a great event.

Stamp of Camaraderie Photoshoot: The Prequel

These are photos of DJ Thaddeus Jeffries & my younger brother Jonathon prior to beginning the photoshoot with Bryant Moscote. Figured I'd put my skills to use as well. Had a great day shooting with the crew. Certainly was a long day but every moment out was well worth it. Anxious for later considering it's past midnight. Good Night you all. Catch you @ Uncle Pete's for 6pm.

Mojo So Dope: Kid Cudi

The boy Cudi is cool as hell. Love this little documentary style video. Mojo So Dope! I'm just livin!

Damn, Really?

Look how they did Lebron in Cleveland. I was expecting some boo's from the crowd, not this t-shirt. Clever I must say but c'mon, really? Lyin King. I guess he was all they had & he shattered the loyalty. Holiday best seller guaranteed. In Cleveland atleast.

Busy Day For SOC

Friend of mine Bryant Moscote who is a very talented photographer is coming from Providence to do a little promo shoot for Stamp of Camaraderie. Also going to Uncle Pete's to set up and get things ready for tomorrow's event. I'm super excited. This is going to be my first event EVER so I'm hoping for a good night out for the comrades. Time to get the day started. Plenty of updates to come!
